About Second Line Bets

Second Line Bets is a live sports betting analytics app. During a game it tells members which side, total or player prop to take, at what number and at which book, at the moment that number is worth taking. Every pick is timestamped before members see it and graded in public, losers included. Second Line Bets is not a sportsbook and never places a bet.

Who it is for

Adults 21 and over who already bet on sports where it is legal, and who want a clear answer during a game: which side to take, at which number, and when. Members get an alert with the side, the number, the book, a suggested stake and one plain line of why, and they decide.

The sports

Each sport keeps its own record. A new sport is never added into another sport’s figures.

Graded in public

Every pick is timestamped and written to an append-only record before members see it. Nothing is edited after the fact and losers are never removed. Each pick is graded at the price that was posted when it went out.

What we never do

We never take a bet, place a bet for anyone, hold a member’s money or connect to a sportsbook account. We never call a pick a sure thing: picks lose, and you can lose money.

How are the picks graded?

Each pick is written to an append-only record with its timestamp, number, book and price before any member sees it. When the game ends it is graded at the posted price as won, lost or pushed. Losers stay on the record; a pick voided for a stated reason is listed and counted nowhere.

What does WR mean?

WR is how often the side we sent won: wins divided by wins plus losses.
