Who we are. Second Line Bets LLC, a Colorado company, runs secondlinebets.com and the Second Line iPhone app. We are an analytics service, not a sportsbook: we never take a bet, hold money for wagering, or access a sportsbook account.

What we collect. Your name and email (from you, or from Apple or Google if you sign in with them; from Google we receive your name, email and profile picture, from Apple your name and email or Apple’s private relay address); a password hash if you set a password; the sizing, sportsbook and alert preferences you enter; the bets you choose to log as taken or passed, with the price you enter; billing status from Stripe (we never see your card number); in the app, a push-notification token for your device and tokens for the home-screen widget and Live Activities; a small number of in-app usage events (for example that a notification was opened or a bet slip was opened) so we can tell whether alerts arrive in time; and ordinary server logs.

What we do with it. Run your account, deliver picks to the channels you choose, show your positions and results, bill you, and — in aggregate and anonymised — measure how quickly alerts reach members and how obtainable our published prices are. We do not sell personal data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Who else sees it. Stripe (billing), Apple and Google (only if you use their sign-in; Apple also delivers our push notifications), Amazon Web Services (hosting and storage, US-East), Vercel (hosting), and our email/SMS provider for the alerts you opt into. Each only for the purpose above.

Retention and deletion. Your data is kept while your account is open. Delete your account from Account in the app or on the website and we delete your profile, preferences, device tokens and ledger the same day; billing records are retained as the law requires. Applications, partners and the iPhone waitlist. When you apply for a role, as a creator or as a referral partner, we collect what you type into the form: your name, email, the role or track, the links you give us (LinkedIn, GitHub, a portfolio, a resume link, your content), your platforms, handles and audience range, how and where you would promote us, your note, and that you confirmed you are 21+ and will disclose the relationship. We use it only to consider your application and to reply; it goes to our inbox and our admin, is never sold and is never used for advertising. We keep it while it is useful for hiring or for working with you, and delete it when you ask: email privacy@secondlinebets.com to have it deleted. The iPhone waitlist keeps only your email and when you left it, to send one email when the app launches. To stop spam we count form submissions per network address for an hour, using a one-way hash; we never store the address itself.

Referral links. If you arrive through a partner’s link (?ref=), we set a first-party cookie holding that partner’s code for 30 days. If you then create an account, the code is saved on your account and on your Stripe subscription so we know which partner introduced you. It never changes your price, plan or access, and the partner sees none of your personal data.

Cookies and analytics. A session cookie to keep you signed in, a preference for light or dark theme, and the referral cookie above when you arrive through a partner’s link. We count page visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not identify you. We also record each visit to our public pages anonymously, with the page and where the visit came from (a tracked link's source, or the referring site such as X, YouTube or Google), and keep that first source in a first-party cookie for 30 days so we know which channel brought a new member. None of this identifies you or is shared. No advertising trackers.

Winning-night emails. If you tick “Email me our winning nights and member offers” when you start checkout and give your email, we keep that email, the time you agreed and the plan you chose, and send you at most three emails. They stop as soon as you subscribe or use the unsubscribe link in any of them.

YouTube. Our channel, youtube.com/@SecondLineBets, posts a short daily results video. We upload those videos to our own channel using YouTube API Services. We do not use YouTube API Services to access, collect, store or share any information about you or any other YouTube user. When you watch our videos on YouTube, YouTube's own terms apply: see the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. Our only YouTube access is to our own channel; it can be revoked at any time from the Google security settings page (security.google.com/settings/security/permissions). Because we store no YouTube user data, there is nothing of yours to delete; for any question email privacy@secondlinebets.com.

Children. This service is for adults 21+ only. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
